a) I am very flattered that eyefry 'tagged' me on this questionnaire.
b) It doesn't get much worse than the poem i posted last time round.
1. Pick out a scar you have, and explain how you got it.
Slight serration below the eye. Had a wart there, and it was cauterised. (with that appetising start, the rest of this is just going to flow like honey.)
2. What is on the walls in your room?
An Abbey Road poster, which an old friend of mine gave me years back, a set of bells my gf gave me that toll when there's a breeze (which is never, nowadays), and my very favourite - a mirror.
3. What does your phone look like?
A brick. And it feels like one too :( Sony Ericsson W550i. Lovely features, great sound, but its a brick, and if I'm wearing a particularly tight pair of jeans, refuses to go into my pocket. yes, its THAT bad.
4. What music do you listen to?
Brit pop, brit rock (only the famous bands).
5. What is your current desktop picture?
Something Sharon did called 'feathered blood'. A picture of Marylin Manson in one corner sneering against a black backdrop, and a lone feather fluttering hopeless with a large splash of blood against it in the other corner.
6. What do you want more than anything right now?
A car. A really sexy one. The new BMW, perhaps?
8. What time were you born?
Midnightish.
9. Are your parents still together?
Yes.
10. What are you listening to?
The whirring of the air con in my office (the only reason i actually come to this place)
11. Do you get scared of the dark?
Only after playing Doom 3

Those mean boys in school. Oh hang, I was one of them! I think we took turns.

Davidoff's Cool Water, I guess. I can;t remember any other names, and this one really is very nice.
14. What kind of hair/eye colour do you like on the opposite sex?
Jet black is always cool
15. Do you like pain killers?
Never tasted one, just chugged it down on occasion!
16. Are you too shy to ask someone out?
If she's not a complete stranger, no.

Snicker bars.

My dad, probably.

here i thought i was being subtle. but i was dead serious about some of them - like davidoff's cool water, and - of course - the BMW. i actually test drove that beauty when they launched the car..
one of the ironies of being a journalist - you get to do stuff you can never do on a journalist's salary.

yes, BMW launched the 3 and the 5 series in india last month. i test drove the 3 series car - slightly lower end - and it did 0 to 100 in five seconds.
priced at 27 lakh. any takers?

when i was a car geek (reading magazines and what not), the most expensive car sold in India was the M Benz E-class, at Rs. 22 lakhs.

ya man... the 5 series is about 40 lakhs.
i think quite a few of the elite class in india were importing luxury cars, which would work out to effectively twice the price. so this was inevitable. expect to see a few more, i think.
but the weird part is the bmw in europe comes at about 30% less... 42k dollars or something... these boys are totally taking the indian market for a ride, and we're lapping it up.
anyways, this is immaterial for one who drives a bike, and at the most can think of buying a santro second hand, but still.
